New PACS Cooking Classes

We're excited to share the success of our newly launched PACS cooking classes! After two brilliant sessions making lasagne and chicken tray bake, we're seeing the positive impact of these sessions on parents and carers in our community.

Each dish costs less than £5 to feed a family of four. The classes offer so much more than cooking skills. Parents have shared that this has become "the highlight of their week" - a much needed opportunity to step away from the daily demands of childcare to chat with other adults and learn something new.

We have loved watching parents connect, share advice, and support one another. These conversations have become a powerful reminder of the importance of community for those who spend most of their time caring for others. As one parent said, "This gives me something just for me."

Our cooking classes run monthly at the Community Hub at Oasis Media City, with the next session being Monday 2nd June. Right now, classes are in-person only while we get started, but we hope to add online options soon.
